After taking a brief jaunt out of my hat making box, I have proceeded to jump back in. A friend of mine is expecting another grandbaby, so I thought I would make a baby hat for her. I have seen the cute animal hats in books and wanted to try one. I love the way it looks. Robyn wants me to make one for her and Cara wants me to make one for Whiskers. I don't think Whiskers wants a hat though. The hat was super easy since it is a variation of the hats I usually make. I had to improvise the ears a little, but I think they came out ok. I am making a hat for her other granddaughter too. It is jester style hat. Who would have thought I would be have so much fun knitting hats?
