Prayer Shawl
I have been working on a prayer shawl for Robyn's birthday. She wanted some numbers used within the shawl to reflect meaningful numbers in her life. I played around and frogged it a bunch before I finally came up with a pattern I liked. She was happy with it and the knitting part is now done. I am in the process of blocking it. I have never blocked before, so we will see how that goes. Hopefully it will go OK.

Wow, it's really pretty! Don't worry, blocking is a sinch;)
Oh, that's cool. So, I'm curious to the numbers and how they are used in the scarf. What is a prayer scarf? Uh, I'm currently finishing the "summer" sweater that I started late spring! I'm lucky if I wear it before Labor Day!! :)
Nancy- The blocking was easy. I just wish I had made a larger garter stitch border on the sides. The stockinette still rolls a little after the blocking.
Lin- She asked that I used numbers that were meaningful to her like 2, 4, 8, 9, and 17. They correspond to her birthday and Jonathan's birthday.
Yes, 3 cups of tea is a must read!
