Over the River and Through the Woods...

...to Grandmother's house we go or in this case, Nana's house. Each summer, my mom, sister, Robyn, Cara, and I take a girls trip. This summer we decided to forgo that so the girls and I took a trip to see them. It is about a 6 1/2 hour drive from here, so it is not too bad. It is easy to break up into a couple of stops so I can walk around and stuff. We were particularly excited about seeing their new dog, Hanna. Hanna is a dog from the Austin German Shepherd Rescue. She was found after Hurricane Hanna, so that is what the rescue named her. Unfortunately, Hanna was not to excited about meeting us. She is a very sweet dog, but very shy. She spent most of the day in her crate in my sister's room. Hopefully, she will get to know us better in the coming days.
