What the Dog Brought In

Ok, I know I said yesterday that it was the last of the in a row Skittles posts. Sorry. I didn't think that through. When I run errands, I put the pups outside for them to do whatever work needs to be done. There are squirrels and birds to harass, neighboring dogs to talk to and apparently yard patrol that needs to be done. When I let them back in, Skittles immediately went to her "room" AKA crate. She doesn't do this unless she has brought in something "questionable" or something she doesn't want to share. This was both. I look in the crate and she has brought in a trespasser. I guess she needed to do further interrogation as to why it was in the yard. I rescued the poor thing and put it in the front flower bed. It has a little bit of blood on its shell. I hope it is ok.

P.S. 30 minutes have passed. I checked on the turtle and it is not there. I guess it is ok. The turtle lives to trespass another day.
