I saw this cute pattern and had to give it a try. Easy peasy. It is now the property of Cara. She wore it to school to participate in a fund raiser for Haiti earthquake relief. The hat was a hit.

LOVE the hat! I would love to have one in orange and white stripes--where did you get the pattern???
The patterns is on Ravelry. I'll check to see what the outside link is. The yarn was black and white variegated, so I got away with just knitting.
